Drow Vs. Mindflayer!

The most recent challenge over at ArtOrder (a blog run by Jon Schindehette, art director for Wizards of the Coast) was a mock book cover illustration of a Drow and a Mindflayer locked in epic battle. Here's my entry for the challenge:

Crazy for Cult

My submission for the Crazy for Cult: 3D show last night. It's based on the movie The Boondock Saints. The opening was a blast! If anyone is in the LA area this month, go check out this show at Gallery 1988 on Melrose and La Brea.

The Tiger's Bride

This is the final painting in a series I recently completed. It's a Beauty and the Beast kind of story, about a girl whose father loses her to a tiger in a game of poker. The tiger wears a disguise of a man, but later he exposes his true self to the girl and asks her to do the same. In the end, he may or may not have eaten her. Awesome story!
Anyway, sorry for the poor quality on these photos, but I'm going out of town tomorrow and wanted to get a quick picture up before I leave. The original painting is pretty big so I haven't been able to scan it properly yet. So these will have to do.
