drawings... feelings...
So I've been sort of in a creative rut lately. I've been seriously lacking the energy and motivation to make ideas into finished illustrations, or really, to do much of anything at all art-related outside my weekly figure drawing sessions.

ReplyDeleteI just love the fluid lines in the second drawing. It's definitely a feminine figure and the soft curves of the contour amplify that, but I think what I love most is the way you captured the power in her posture and that oh-so-subtle tension in her legs. :)

ReplyDeleteworking and painting sucks balls, i think alot of us are goin through that now. i've been even contemplating goin back to some part time thing so i can have more time to make pretty picture.if you ever wanna swing by and paint after work i gotta chair and a table next to yurtle for ya. usually get started around 9, finish around 3am back to work around 9. good luck!
